Resources

Navigating an MS diagnosis can feel like a storm you weren't prepared for. We've gathered these resources to help clear the fog—from clinical facts to small tips for daily joy. Take what you need, leave what feels heavy, and remember: you aren't doing this alone.

1. Understanding MS

  • National MS Society: The gold standard for facts.
  • MS Trust: Explanations of how MS affects the body.
  • PubMed Health: For deep clinical and medical science.
  • MS Foundation: A nonprofit organization focused on providing free services that address the critical needs of people with MS and their families, helping them maintain the best quality of life.
  • Multiple Sclerosis News Today: Stay up to day with bionews

2. Care & Symptoms

  • Disease-Modifying Therapies (DMT) Tracker: Tracking schedules for treatments.
  • Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy: Specialists focused on rehabilitation.
  • Symptom Journals: Templates to prep for doctor visits.

3. Living Well

  • MS One-to-One: Peer connection support programs.
  • Neura: Therapy specialized in chronic illness.
  • Life Hacks: Practical management for fatigue.
  • Shift MS: Community driven support for daily life.

Community Corner

MS can be a lonely road, but I've learned that we don't have to carry the weight alone. Multiple Shenanigans is a space for us to find laughter in the chaos, but sometimes you need a broader circle. Community matters because it reminds us that our 'new normal' is shared by thousands of others holding a torch in the same fog.

Millienials With MS

A Facebook support group for people of the millennial generation (we accept birth years 1981-1996,) who are living with Multiple Sclerosis.
